The setup checklist on the Assistants page lists the features your active assistants aren't using yet, so you can get the most out of them. Click Set up to go straight to the right place, or Not needed to take an item off the list.
Where to find it
Go to Assistants in the sidebar. Below the assistant cards there's a card titled Setup: X of Y done, with a progress bar. Each line reads as the assistant's name followed by what's missing, for example "Main line: No survey".
When everything is done or marked as not needed, the card says All set: your assistants are fully configured.
What each item means
The list only includes assistants that are Active.
Phone assistants
| Item | What's missing | Where Set up takes you |

| No survey | No satisfaction survey at the end of calls. | Tickets & survey tab. See Satisfaction survey. |
| No tickets | The assistant can't open tickets from calls. | Tickets & survey tab. See Ticket creation. |
| No transfer | No team phone numbers to pass calls to. Only shown for assistants that answer a phone line. | Hours & answering tab. See Transfer calls to your team. |
WhatsApp and ticket assistants
| Item | What's missing | Where Set up takes you |
|---|---|---|
| No per-channel instructions | No extra instructions just for this channel (on top of the general behavior). | Behavior tab. See Write instructions for your assistant. |
Set up an item
- Click Set up next to the item.
- The assistant opens on the right tab. Add what's missing and save.
- Go back to Assistants: the item is gone and the count goes up.
Some items, like ticket creation or call transfer, may need Edenia to connect something first. If the tab says you can't edit it yet, contact Edenia support and we'll set it up with you.
Mark an item as not needed
Not every business needs every feature. If you don't want a survey or per-channel instructions, click Not needed next to the item. It leaves the list and counts as done.
To bring them back, click Show items marked not needed (N) at the top of the card. This puts all the items you marked back on the list.
Good to know
- The checklist is shared by your whole team. If a colleague marks an item as not needed, it disappears for everyone in your company, and the same goes for bringing items back.
- Items you set up yourself disappear automatically; you don't need to tick anything.
- The assistant cards also show missing features as orange tags, so you can spot them at a glance.
- An inactive assistant doesn't appear in the checklist. Contact Edenia if an assistant should be active.
