The Assistants page lists every assistant on your account. Each assistant handles one channel: Phone, WhatsApp or Tickets. Pick one to set it up or test it.
The assistant cards
Use the Channel chips at the top (All, Phone, WhatsApp, Tickets) to filter the list. Each card shows:
- The assistant's name, its number (or "HostBill" for a ticket assistant) and whether it's Active or Inactive.
- Key settings at a glance:
- Phone: Answers first (The team or The assistant) and the Voice.
- WhatsApp: Answers first and Hours (Its own or The phone's).
- Tickets: Answers: Once, when the ticket opens.
- Feature tags such as Survey or No survey, Tickets or No tickets, the number of transfer numbers, and Per-channel instructions. Missing features are highlighted.
Click Configure to open the assistant.
Inside an assistant
Settings are grouped in tabs. A phone assistant has all six; WhatsApp and ticket assistants have Overview, Behavior, Knowledge and Hours & answering.
| Tab | What you set there |
|---|---|
| Overview | Assistant name (how it appears in the dashboard), Name (the name it introduces itself with), phone number, status and last update |
| Greeting & voice | Voice, welcome and out-of-hours messages. See Greeting and voice |
| Behavior | Instructions and call tags. See Write instructions for your assistant |
| Knowledge | What the assistant knows about your business. See Write good business information |
| Hours & answering | Office hours, who answers first and transfer numbers. See Office hours |
| Tickets & survey | Contact capture, satisfaction survey and ticket creation |
Most fields save on their own a moment after you type, and you'll see "Settings updated successfully". Long texts, like instructions and knowledge, have their own Save button.
The setup checklist
Below the cards, Setup: X of Y done lists what's still missing on your active assistants, for example a survey or a transfer number.
- Click Set up to jump straight to the right tab.
- Click Not needed if you don't want that feature. It's hidden for your whole team, not just for you.
- Show items marked not needed brings them back.
When everything is done you'll see "All set: your assistants are fully configured."
Good to know
- Edenia creates your assistants and connects them to your phone line or WhatsApp number. To add a channel, contact us.
- An Inactive assistant doesn't answer, and most of its settings can't be edited. If you see "You cannot edit this setting at the moment. Please contact our team for assistance.", get in touch and we'll help.
- Your phone assistant and your WhatsApp assistant are separate: changing the instructions of one doesn't change the other.
- Not every account has every feature. Transfers, tickets via HostBill and some channels depend on how Edenia set up your account.
